Hello! I'm Julian—a photographer based in New York City and Los Angeles. I specialize in editorial, event, and architectural photography, working across both film and digital formats. My passion lies in capturing people and places, telling stories through my lens.

My journey into photography began in front of the camera. For twelve years, I performed as a professional ballet dancer across the USA and Russia. I then spent five years modeling for major brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, etc. while also acting in films and theater.

After earning a degree in journalism, I found myself drawn to seeing and documenting the world from a new perspective. My experience in front of the camera shaped my approach behind it—I wanted to explore people and narrate how I saw them. That passion led me to become a storyteller in my own right. Recently, I was honored to speak at Columbia University on the future of Black artists and creatives in the industry.

My inspirations come from legendary photographers such as Richard Avedon, Aldo Fallai, Annie Leibovitz, Luigi & Iango, Damon Baker, among others.
